I have been in search of a boy short and wanted to give these a try, despite the other bad reviews. These bottoms were awful...they are too tight around the legs and bigger in the bottom. I ordered a size L (I'm 5'5"/125 lbs) and it made my butt look like it was stuffed. I loved the hot pink color (very pretty in person), but unfortunately I'm not sure these boy shorts fit anyone....

I'm 5'8, 125 pounds, size 27 jeans. Because of the reviews and because I have a butt on me, I ordered a Large ... No luck.
The lower elastic is really tight, and since there isn't much coverage it cuts into your backside and causes major bulging on the sides. Looks awful. I tried to pull it down to fix the bulging, but there isn't enough fabric to do that and cover my entire butt crack.
I have never had this problem before. I'm usually an XS at other stores.

I read all of these reviews before ordering and STILL wanted this bathing suit. I went up a size and ordered a medium instead of my usual small and they fit perfect! I love them! They have great coverage on the bum and in the front the cut of them makes them look kind of like boy shorts. I would say, go a size up and you shouldn't be disappointed!

The bottoms are super cute, but I can't imagine them fitting anyone. I usually fluctuate from a size small to a medium. I suffer from saggy butt syndrome, and was hoping the boy shorts would give me a more toned look. After reading others reviews, I ordered a large bc the extra large was unavailable. They did not fit at all. My butt was hanging out all over the place- top, bottoms, side, crack, not cute. I'm 5'6'', weigh 125, and find this completely unacceptable. I returned them immediately. Luckily, I already have black boy shorts that I can wear with them, and feel like any solid bottom would match the top.

Please make bigger versions & adjust your sizing!!!
I love the colour & style & would buy a few of these as I live in the water but they are way too small & I'm talking about the L. I usually vary between M-L but I had to give the large to my slim 12year old niece.

"I read all of the previous reviews and was really hoping that ordering a size up would solve the too small issue. I got the bottoms and was happy to see the quality was very nice but then I tried them on. The waistband fit along with the overal width of the bottoms but the leg holes are way too tight. These are meant for someone without a butt. The band around the legs doesn't have much give to it and does not sit well. Sadly these will have to be returned."

I always wear a S in FreePeople but I bought a M because I have read the other reviews. It´s still tiny and it does not fit at all!! I am changing back for a L

i usually wear a size small so i got the small anyway and i'm keeping it. i do agree that it runs a little tight though. usually swimwear gets bigger in the water, but it might be a good idea to size up just in case. loved the jade color!
