First off, I'd like to say that the quality of the leather is very good. The styling may be on the plain side but it has a lot of class! This boot will go with so many different types of outfits because of the style. It also looks like it will hold up for years to come. The leather is very stiff and will need a lot of breaking in. I did not have any trouble getting my foot inside the boot unlike what one of the reviewers mentioned. I do have a high arch and was afraid that I would have trouble getting my foot inside. The person must have extremely high arches. I normally wear a 6.5 to a 7. I ordered a 7 and it fits me very well when I wear a thicker sock, and a slight bit of room when I wear no socks, or thin socks. The only trouble I think I will have is that the top rim is very stiff and it does hurt a little on my shins. I'm going to have to wear some thicker socks in that area. Once the boots are broken in, I'm sure that will no longer be an issue. All-in-all, I really love this boot and will have this for many years.

I usually wear size 7.5 (sandals & pumps) 8 (boots & trainers) and ordered these in 38. Perfect fit, no adjustment needed. Quality of the leather is impressive. It's thick and hard, yet very comfortable. I was prepared for a little trouble such as a blister or two, but that concern proved unfounded. I walk around in these all day with no pain, no bleeding, no chafing. And they look fantastic with anything casual - mini skirts, shorts, skinny jeans, jersey dresses. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely wear them often.

I ordered these boots in hopes they would be my dream boot. Alas, only a day dream. The size pretty true. I am a size 9 and ordered 39. In theory this is the right size. However, fitting my foot in the boot was another story. I have an arch to my foot which prevented me from putting the boot on one foot. If you have an arch, be warned. I got one boot on and there was a bit of pressure on my arch causing pain. I could not put on the other boot. If I got size 40 I am afraid the length will be too long.
In terms of quality, the leather was thick and would take some time getting worn in. (Not soft and supple). Actually,the boots look just like the pictures. There were already some "scuff" marks (just like in the pictures). Very cute, just would not fit so sending back.
