"After speaking to the artist, she advised that acrylics were used to paint this beautiful jacket, and a leather expert may be able to recommend a protectant that is leather safe and safe for the paint. (Be sure to test on a small area first!) We recommend wearing this with care as it is a one of a kind hand painted piece and don't recommended wearing in the rain or snow. Over time, the paint may begin to crack giving it a more aged worn in look. We think it will get more beautiful with time!"
