Kara Ginther’s studio is currently in the small town of Columbus, WI. She is best known for my hand-carved Brooks saddles. Each saddle is carved completely by hand using fine wood carving tools. She removes the thinnest surface layer to expose the contrasting color below. A carved saddle is still fully functional but the customer should be careful to avoid moisture.
