Okay so when I first saw this dress I was in love. I read the reviews and was nervous since it looks extremely short. However after much deliberation I bought a size 8 in the green color. SOOOOOO LOVELY!!!!! I am 5'5 and 140 lbs and I thought if this dress is as small as people say I'm screwed. So I read the sizing and based the bust size as a deciding factor, I am a 34 B so I went up to the size 8 for a roomy fit and hopefully longer skirt length...IT WORKED. Yes the hem is unfinished and yes it is a delicate dress, its lace so no shocker there. The arms pull a little, but thats due to the fact the the tailoring in the arm pits is so low, which is a FP trend I notice :( However the length is great to me and I have room to move my arms. The dress is so pretty in color and style. Most of all what helped me buy it was the style pics down below which showed me the length difference on different girls.

the unfinished hem doesn't work. First off, I would imagine for the money there'd be a finished hem. The photo of the white dress clearly shows a finished hem, the black does not have one, which I didn't notice when I ordered. The hem wasn't even even... The arms were a bit tight, (5'2", 100 lbs, ordered an XS). It is really pretty, but not worth the price as is in my opinion. It is really short which makes me laugh since at my height, EVERYTHING is too long from FP... hehe.... Most things that are short on the models are still long or perfect for me...this was a bit too short for my liking.

This is a beautiful dress. Definitely size up because the sleeves are tight. I am almost always a size 4 and the 6 fit well. The problem, as another reviewer noted, is that the arm drop is low, so it leaves your arms very restricted. Unfortunately, the sleeves are made of a mesh material, so after repeated pulling on the arms, it will make the mesh run. This is what I saw when I tried one on at a freepeople store. Also, you probably don't want to wear a bra with it. You can see the band in the back and the horizontal line ruins the beauty of the design in the back. I am a C cup and usually can't get away without wearing a bra, but clasping the front closed actually gave a little support. I tried on the ivory color and it was almost pure white.

I am usually a size 2 in FP dresses, but after reading the reviews regarding the sleeves I sized up to a 4. Its really true that the sleeves run narrow, I almost ripped them on the first try. However a little arm work outs here and there solved the problem. In regards to the overall fit, the torso was a little loose on me, I am a 32B, and it fell about 3 inches above my knee. Overall, this is a sexy dress, worth it.

This dress is beautiful and hangs perfectly.

I tried this on in store, I'm 5'10 and slender, I wear a small in FP and the size 6 fit perfectly. This is a lovely dress and quite flattering. I tried it on the reverse way as well but found it cut too high on the threat and made it very uncomfortable. Very pretty dress.

This just didn't work for me. Even after sizing up twice to a 6 it still didn't fit my more muscular arms (there is NO stretch to the lace), barely fit my chest (34 DD/DDD), and was a little too big for my waistline. It was beautiful, but be careful with sizing.

I was drooling over this dress online but was pretty disappointed by it in the store. First off, the lace pattern is easily my favorite part of the dress but you can't really see it except for on the sleeves and the sheer panel in the back. So the dress doesn't look nearly as detailed or ornate as it appears to online. Also the fit was kind of off. I'm always a 2 in FP dresses and the 2 fit everywhere except for my arms. My arms were pretty restricted and I couldn't lift them up. But if I had sized up, the dress would've definitely been too big everywhere else. So, overall, I have to say it's a pass.
