Rated 3 out of 5Â by Pam2012 Too small waist.
I bought this pants in white i am usually extra small in free people clothing the waist was too tight and the length was too short i am 5 feet 5 inches tall . I intend to wear it really high waist so it would not be to tight', The material is like cheese cloth.

its funny because perhaps one reason that i love free people so much is because i wear a size small in their clothing since it tends to run a bit loose! these pants however, do not, like many of the other girls mentioned in the reviews, they are SHORT, and im 5'4, i ordered the m/l because i read the reviews and figured they wouldnt look bad looser but they were like ankle rise on me, and like they mentioned, tight on the hips so if i pulled them down the didnt sit right..i ended up returning them in the store :/

I was a little disappointed in the length of these pants. I am 5'6" max and they are pretty short on me. The waist area is too snug to wear lower and then they are too long in the rise. I'm gonna wear them and pretend they are a skirt that's supposed to be shorter! I'm keeping them because they are so unique and the quality is wonderful. The fabric is so soft almost like cheese cloth. They will be great for beach or festivals.

I agree. The fit could be better. They run a bit small in the waist. They are super comfy and they are sheer, but you can see this in the picture.

These are gorgeous and comfy pants. I scored them a 4 only because they are just barely long enough (in M/L) for my 33" inseam. At the same time, the waist does fit, but I found it to slide down a little, and had to "pull them up" several times throughout the day. They are very well-made (as are all JPB garments), and the weight of the fabric is substansial.

The fabric is doubled as the lining, so it has a nice weight to it and is not as sheer as in see through. Since the fabric is doubled, there is no raw edge at the bottom so you shouldn't cut them to length unless you are going to actually hem them. Fabric itself does not have any stretch, but the design is very forgiving, both casually comfortable and roomy without looking too bulky. High waisted. Versatile piece that can be dressed up or down.
