The Humble Slipper Makes Its Way Back to the Top of Our Christmas Lists
Because, like the saying goes: warm feet, warmer heart.
A few years ago, I found myself no longer interested in continuing to wear my street shoes around the house. I wanted something that truly signalled “at home.” (Picture a Mr. Rogers moment, happily swapping out my day shoes for something easier, more comfortable. That was what I searching for. Even the cardigan to match.)
I tried going it in just my socks, but a few close calls while descending our stairs made me seek out something with a little grip–the house slipper. And I have to say… It was the best gift I could have ever given myself.
I never really gave slippers much thought before then, and now I can’t imagine life without them. They are my +1 for all things indoors. They keep me warm and cozy, SAFE…and well now I want to share that feeling with everyone I know. Slippers for all!
