buy one size up
I'll be honest. I'm a tad overweight at the moment BUT I have purchased other tunics that ran so large i sized down to a medium or occasionally a small. This was priced well when I stumbled on it and got a medium in white. Should have tried it on. White is see through. The upper part of the arms feels like a blood pressure cuff until the part where it bell's out. The chest is definitely not for a 36d person. A large or XL would be good. I'm overweight. 5'8" and 180 The arms and chest are so binding it's unreal. Again many of of my tunics I size down. Not this one. So I ordered a large in army. MUCH BETTER!!
This top is one of my favorites. I wasn't sure if it would fit around the chest area because I'm busty, but it was fine! Looks cute buttoned up for a more conservative look, but also unbuttoned if you want to make it look a little edgier. The bell sleeves aren't overly dramatic. Probably going to buy this top in another color!
I got this tunic in my regular size S, burnt orange colour. I love the design, and how it fits. I am thinking about getting more colours.I just wish Free People stops making all their fabulous clothing from rayon. It wrinkles a lot and may shrink significantly when washed.
Just got the parcel tonight. Actually, I'm quite disappointed because the fabric looks cheap when I touch it, I think it might be better if it use other silk-like fabric, moreover, the size run too large and loose not as the XS should be... so I don't think it's worth to buy. BTW, I bought a white one, and I'm gonna send it back :/
Not a hit
I ordered the orange peel, size large and returned. Here's why. It's tight at the top of the arms and across the back. I didn't like the fabric, which has no give and didn't really flow over my hips. It looks long and frumpy on my 5'4" frame. At 155 lbs, this would likely look nice on a thinner person who doesn't carry weight in the mid-section. I didn't like the color either it's much more orange than the muted tone shown in the photos.
