With autumn’s arrival, I suddenly felt the urge to press the reset button on my wardrobe — adding in more layers, cozy textures and versatility because you never know what the weather may be like these days.
Too warm for a chunky knit.
Too cool for a tank.
“If only there was a half sweater in my life,” I thought. “Then I’d be golden!”

I was determined to find a happy medium as sweater weather hasn’t completely hit quite yet. Then… lo and behold, I came across the Mercury Cable Knit Set, which does exactly that. It’s half sweater (well, shrug) and half vest. Which makes mixing, matching, and set dressing irresistibly easy. Made with a super soft cable knit stitch, the Mercury Set is effortlessly versatile and embodies the season: so cozy and up for anything.
Below, I chronicled the many outfits I made from this one sweater set. And as you can see, it went a very long way:

Look 1: Autumnal Tones
What I love most about autumn are the colors, warm reds, dark greens, browns, berry and acorn… this look emulates the palette of autumn. I paired the set with comfortable, high-waisted cinched pants. After a few hours, the sun started to burn its way through the clouds which got me a little toasty. All I needed for a quick cooldown was to take the sweater off and tie it around my waist and these boots are perfect to wear with pants!
Look 2: Bold + Boho
For my second look, I wore this tank over my bohemian dress for an extra bit of warmth and coziness. Tip: This is a fall trend I'm in love with right now, so it was really exciting that I had the option to try it out.
Look 3: Grunge Meets Sultry
I toned down my ‘going out’ look with the sweater part of the set, teaming it with a bralette and high-waisted skirt for a daring-to-be-bare sensibility.
