Question 1

What styles of bikini bottoms does Free People carry?

Accepted Answer

We offer a wide variety of bikini bottom styles, including string, high-cut, cheeky, high-waisted, mid-rise, low-rise, hipster, and boyshort options, so you can find the perfect fit for your personality and vibe.

Question 2

Can I mix and match bikini bottoms with different tops at Free People?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Mixing and matching is a big part of our swimwear philosophy. Pair simple, solid-colored bottoms with bold patterned tops, or let statement bottoms shine alongside more minimal styles.

Question 3

What is the difference between cheeky and full coverage bikini bottoms?

Accepted Answer

Cheeky bikini bottoms leave more of the backside exposed and are great for lounging or poolside days, while full coverage bottoms offer a more secure fit that works well for active beach days or surfing.

Question 4

What does the rise mean when shopping for bikini bottoms?

Accepted Answer

Rise refers to where the waistband sits on your body. Low-rise sits at the hips below the belly button, mid-rise lands between the hips and waist, and high-waisted styles sit at or above the natural waist for more coverage.

Question 5

How do I find the right bikini bottom for my style?

Accepted Answer

Consider the rise, coverage, and style details that make you feel most confident. We offer a swim fit guide to help you explore tips and trends to find an ideal match.

Question 6

What are some of the trending bikini bottom styles right now?

Accepted Answer

Trending styles include boyshorts, tie-side bottoms, high-cut silhouettes, cheeky high-waisted cuts, and classic hipster styles, available in a range of colors and prints.
