The 5 “It”-Items For Every Night Out

While the slowly decreasing temps can tempt you to stay inside on the weekend, we think there’s no reason for you to not be outside. Okay, maybe not literally outside, but figuratively!
Nights out do not have to be a thing of the past in the fall and winter. Holidays and homecomings actually put the perfect energy into the air for the most fun moments and memories. Whether it be dinner with friends, a trip to your local dive, or a tried-and-true night-out (dancing included), the options are truly endless this time of year. Sounds fun, right? The last thing we want for you is to have FOMO…so skip PJs and put on your party shoes, because we are going OUT, October through December.
Now that we’ve convinced you to be a Fall/Winter weekend warrior, some questions do arise…The first and foremost being, What on Earth do I wear?
Unfortunately, that is a very loaded question, and our only answer (for now) is that it boils down to your “Brrrrr!” tolerance. Wear the jacket, or don’t – we know you’ll look fab either way.
BUT, we’re happy to report that we have cracked a code when it comes to night-out styling that applies to ANY time of year. After a lot of convos, we’ve found that there are items we reach for again and again that truly take a look from day to night – certain things that give an outfit that extra-special touch, no matter what pieces you’re styling.
So whether you want to wear a sweater or a mini skirt, here are the can’t-leave-the-house-without picks that really make a night-out ‘fit:

Nothing beats a petite little bag for a night out. You want to keep it light so you’re not bogged down if the dance floor calls. THE “IT” SHOE
Yes, we’re having a heels moment too. Kitten heels, to be exact. Something about a sharp pointed toe and low height makes them feel elevated but extremely wearable, which is perfect for out on the town. The caged detail and slingback strap on this specific pair keeps them sleek yet versatile, easily pairing back to simple or statement styles and giving your look that “wow” factor.
