Style: 33644139 Color Code:
This gorgeous maxi slip features a sheer grid floral lace bodice with a drop waist. Tiered sheer mesh skirt.
True to fit, this maxi dress is stunning! I am 5ft small and a size 8. Although the color is more of a charcoal grey than black which gives it a vintage look. The straps of the dress are very thin, but give enough support. The only *flaw* is that the slip (as pictured underneath) is not included which should be detailed on the information. I would love to purchase the slip as well but could not find a reference for it. Dare to dream and go and purchase this dress its sure to last a lifetime.
Cool and worth the work
This is not an easy piece. I am 5"7, curvy, with hips and a bust, and the M fits pretty great. I wasn't sure about this and thought I might return it but ended up making a tiny alteration (raising the waist hem at the front) and now I absolutely love it. It is completely sheer and definitely not black - much more of a washed charcoal. The straps are VERY thin and the weight of the dress makes them cut into my shoulders a bit, but I actually wouldn't want them thicker as it is extremely sexy as it is. really fun to wander around the house in a la Morticia Adams. The neckline in front is higher than I thought it would be, which I love. The ruffled skirt is a show stopper - I love wearing this with tights and combat boots. It also looks great with an oversized blazer or top overtop. The only problem, which I ended up altering, was the the waist hem in front was significantly longer than it was in the back, which looked really weird. Hence the change. Very grunge chic. Recommended!
I ordered this in the wine color, and it is more of a purple with a reddish undertone. The straps are a little thin for the weight so hopefully they will hold up, but the style is very lovely and flattering. I have a 35" bust and 35" hips and an XS fits perfectly.
Gorgeous cut, very flattering, but definitely grey
I love the way this dress is cut and feels, but I expected it to be black like the photos and in person it is definitely more of a grey color. If I look closely I see the color is called "charcoal" but it's way lighter in person than in the photos, and somehow I just feel like it looks a little weird - just a strange color for the fabric choice and silhouette. I'm going to send it back, but I think will probably order the red color instead. It really is just a lovely, flattering cut and feels amazing on.
