Sourced from Darjeeling, India, famous for its unique teas grown on the slopes of the Himalayas, Darjeeling Second Flush is more full-bodied than its First Flush counterpart, producing a muscatel cup of tea. Each year, there are two harvesting seasons: spring and late summer. The Second Flush is picked in the latter when the tea bush has had time to mature. This results in a malty black tea that can be had with or without milk. It’s also wonderful iced, with a slice of orange, on warmer days. Certified Organic. Each bag produces approximately 40 to 50 cups of tea. Tea leaves are long leaf and can be re-steeped as well for a second cup. Comes in compostable packaging.
