Coming apart at the seams!
I bought this shirt less than a year ago in the dark/burgundy red color and have only worn it two or three times. Upon hand washing and hang drying it, I put it on and noticed the seam above the breast coming apart. This shirt hangs beautifully and looks great on, and I am so disappointed that its now unwearable! Would have loved to gotten more wear out of such a pricey shirt.
Hi Amanda, We'll be in touch.
I Love this Tunic
I have this tunic in the army green and I love the way it looks with leggings. I had to have the red because the color is stunning. It's a vibrant red and in this color it is amazing. My new favorite Free People top and I have many!
I love this tunic! I also hate it. I have it in 3 colors, ivory, black and navy. I only feel this way because it is very delicate. I had to have one swapped out because the seam separated from the hem right at the chest and it runs easy. be careful with it. Also the arms are slightly tight for the size. I sized down due to the way it fits. even that is roomy everywhere but the arms.Great piece with small flaws,I would still get it!
This top is so fun to wear! Its flowy and fitted (in shoulders and arms) all at the same time. This is one of my go to pieces. You can wear it for day to day activities or a nice dinner. I can wear it as a top with jeans and boots or wear it as a dress with a slip and sandals. I got white so it goes with pretty much any piece of jewelry I pair with it. Definitely recommend!
Cute But Just Okay
I have this tunic in black, size M. I'm not exactly a small girl but I'm not huge either. This tunic is huge. And it doesn't have a flattering cut like most of my other FP stuff. It's cute and I wear it fairly often, but I am not convinced it looks great. It's just comfortable. It's also an awkward length on me. It hits low on my hip so it looks long and baggy with jeans but too short and loose and shapeless for leggings. All of this being said, I like it overall. I wear it more for when I'm hanging out at home or going to visit my parents or a friend at her house. Its perfect for lounging around.
This is a pretty tunic w/ nice detail and the color Moss is as pictured. I sized down 2 sizes after reading the reviews but it is simply way too huge for my tastes even when belted. It adds about 20 lbs. to my figure and is unflattering so back it goes.
Beautiful... and yet
As with the reviewer below, I love(d) this tunic/dress. I bought it in white, and it fits beautifully. I've worn it exactly twice, and it's with grave disappointment (yes, grave!) that I've noticed threads unraveling. After one washing (by hand!), it is starting to fall apart, and the material is pilling. I could see this happening after several wears, but after two? I've generally had great experiences with Free People's products (with the exception of one gorgeous, but poorly made dress), but this is now almost unwearable. Such a disappointment.
Hi hrcurry, We're sorry to hear about your Babydoll Lace Inset Swing Tunic. Someone from our team will reach out. - Free People
I am obsessed with this tunic. I ordered in it the dark olive in my usual size (L; 5'7, 190lbs, 36G) and it fits well, although it's tighter on me in the arms and bust than on the model. An XL would fit me more like it does on the model. The color is lovely and the tunic is totally my style. On me at least, it has more of a hi-lo hem and it's fairly short in the front, so I'll wear it with leggings.
I've been debating about whether to get this tunic for months. Finally I saw it in a FP store and it looked even better and of a very nice quality. I ordered it in black, and it's so gorgeous! Very flattering and super comfortable. I ordered a Large and I think I might try a Medium for my next one. Yes, I need it in more than one color!
