Cute but big

I agree with the previous reviewer who said this belt runs large... it definitely does! I figured there would be at least 2 options for fastening the belt, one larger and one slightly smaller. But there isn't, you are stuck with one length that, on me, barely stays on my hips. I was hoping to wear this as a waist belt so I suppose I will try to remove a couple of the links to make it smaller. If you are petite (I am 5'1" and 115lbs) I would think twice about buying this because it might not even stay on!

NICE BELT

I like this belt a lot it looks as pictured only it does not come up as high on my waist. The belt hangs at the tightest setting somewhere in the lower belly on me. I hoped it could cinch in at waist but it was a little loose. I am 5'5 140 lbs btw. Its still super pretty and a little bit of black stuff does come off like the reviewer said, but it was no big deal. This belt goes with everything.

Great style, flexible generous size, a bit fragile

  • Age: over 45

The good thing about these belts is that I am finding they do not catch on delicate fabrics as some metal belts do, or at least the two I have received don't, which is a big plus. It's a reasonable price, not too heavy, and a good adaptable style. I've bought both colours and they're going to be useful with a variety of outfits. The bad thing is that I'm having to remember to pull the belt up loose and out of the way if I do something like crouch down to do up shoes, as there is no give at all and the snake chain links (not the fastening) have quite fragile teeth linking to each other and can break apart when stressed. However, I have found that it is possible to fix them back together again pretty easily, and as long as the teeth themselves don't break off, it should be ok. There is quit a lot of adaptability in the size: I am UK 14/16 FP M/L and it's comfortable worn loose at dropped waist/hip level for me at near its longest. I think it is possible it could be a bit large for very petite ladies.
