Miss Sparky (Linda Sue Parker), ranks high on Baron Wolman’s list of loved groupies. In his words, Parker was an “intelligent and sparkling member of the GTO’s, always smiling and exuberant.” He recalls the “great afternoon” that he went into the borrowed photo studio of A&M Records in LA for a photo shoot with the GTO’s for the Rolling Stone Groupie issue (#27), which was published on February 15, 1969. He recalls Parker as a member of the six GTO’s, presenting herself differently, as they each did. Making herself unique in make-up to a distinct style, with no two women alike. Baron recalls them “looking fabulous”.
