Beautiful dress but...

I love this dress and parts of it fit very well. I am 5' 8" and the small was a perfect length. Also, the elastic fit well around my lower back/hips. The upper back however was very loose. I am a 34C so small usually fits me well for shirts or the tops of dresses. But with this dress I had to have the upper part of the back brought in about 2 1/2 inches. If you have a small chest or rib cage I would suggest ordering a size smaller if your height will allow you to do so.

Fits well but straps are poorly sewn

This dress is quite comfortable and has an elastic waist, so there is quite a bit of stretch. It does fit true to size, I am 5'11 and ordered the medium and the length was perfect, it isn't too short. Overall it is a lovely dress, however my main complaint is that the quality of stitching on the back of the straps is very poor and flimsy. When I was (gently) putting the dress on for the first time the left strap broke (from the base where it connects with the back), and I had to sew it back myself, which was very disappointing. I would advise if you purchase it to reinforce the back part of the straps with a few extra stitches prior to wearing it just to be safe, as once it snaps off, if you are in public there isn't a way to hold up that side of the top, unless you happen to have a safety pin or sewing kit handy.
