Absolutely Perfect <3
This dress is so beautiful, and I received SO MANY compliments. The lining is a bit thin, but I just wore a light skirt slip underneath and it worked perfectly. I felt like a princess. XS 5 ft 6 in. 120lbs
Gorgeous wedding dress
This will be my wedding dress next year. The fabric is gorgeous and detailed, and my tailor says that it will be no problem shortening the dress a bit, thanks to the tiered nature of the skirt. The lining is quite soft, and it keeps the dress from being at all see-through; I tried it on wearing bright-colored underwear, and you couldn't see a thing. The lining does wrinkle incredibly easily, however. The back is simple, but the straps can be tied in more creative ways to add some drama. The dress definitely runs big. I'm not exactly thin (145, 5'4"), yet I was able to get the XS dress on quite easily; I figured I'd be buying the dress now and trying it on once I had lost weight. Once I lose 10-15 pounds, it should fit fairly perfectly, though I will have to shorten the dress by 2-3 inches. Finally, if this is your wedding dress, make sure you have a place to lay the dress flat without your future partner seeing it; Spell and the Gypsy recommends not hanging this dress up to keep the mesh from stretching: the dress is surprisingly heavy.
Best Wedding Dress
The Best Wedding dress ever! So beautiful, adjustable in the back, very comfortable and flowing! Survived my crazy wedding at Burning Man and was absolutely gorgeous all night long! LOVE IT!
Gorgeous dress, thin lining
I first ordered this dress in a small and was worried it might be too small because I usually wear a medium, but it was too big! Especially in the bust, where the triangles hit around my waist. I'm 5'7" 145lbs and exchanged it for an XS which fits great but will probably still need to be taken in a bit in the hips. Weird because I'm a little bit pear shaped. The mesh overlay is beautiful and a nice weight! I love the layers at the bottom and the train! But the lining is a very thin silk fabric that's rather sheer. I want to keep the dress but will have to see if I can replace the lining. Overall happy with it since it's still pretty affordable compared to other options and very pretty.
Yup, this is the dress.
Since there are no reviews and this is kind of a big thing to purchase, I thought I'd put in my two cents about this dress. I just got it in the mail and it is amazing. The dress is lined to the calf in a stretchy silky layer and it is in no way sheer. The lace, since it is a mesh, seems very sturdy, and there were no loose threads to speak of. The dress is comfortable, and stretchy and not too heavy. It seems like you'll be able to dance yourself silly in it, which is key. I am 5'8" like 114 lbs with measurements of 32A-22-35 and the XS fit like a glove. From the pictures it looks like the cup area is very large and goes down quite low on the model and this worried me since I have a very small chest, however, with proper strap adjustment it fit me perfectly. Also, I am not super tall, and this dress hit perfectly at the ground for me when I had on the Free People Canton heel which I intend on wearing with it. The train is long and beautiful, but I will likely need to add a bustle at some point. Considering how expensive bridal gowns are for many of the same styles, this high quality and unique dress is an absolute steal! Oh, and there are little bells on the ends of the straps which are charming but could easily be cut off if jingling down the aisle isn't your thing.
