Cozy textured printed leggings with an elastic waistband for a comfortable fit.
So Comfy !
Have these in the creme combo and just grabbed another pair before they ran out of stock. Love the soft texture and comfortable fit of this legging. My regular size fit perfectly and they washed well. The creme combo is a nice color combination for a dressy event where I am wearing the Meadownlands Top over them. Get these before they are gone and while on a great sale.
elegant pattern but.....
I picked up the XL in the ivory during the recent sale, the fabric is okay, but I think there should be a legging rule that there should be some spandex in the fabric, for comfort and fit. They fit on the legs , although I wish they had a longer inseam ( I'm 5'9", 150 lbs) but they're sagging at the waist band and that's just trying them on, judging from the polyester blend I'm afraid there's nothing to stop sagging behind and at the knees with extended use. They are no where as comfortable or well fitting as the soft leggings FP carries. The pattern is cute and elegant at the same time and the suturing at the groin looks ok, but I'm afraid after all the pictures of unraveling seams from other reviewers. I don't know, I'm thinking of returning these to exchange for the new color in the "soft leggings ", which I love and even at full price are about the same as I paid for these on sale.
Love at first sight ,disappointed at first wash
I fall in love with these leggings but while decided to buy I saw there is no small thus I bought an XS and thanks God I did it so ! Even XS was fitting like pyjama rather than a tighed legging ! Anyhow I did not care as the colour was very nice..It got me only one washing as it turned to be a disappointment. It enlarged and almost became a pyjama bottom :(( very much disappointed but of course I will keep on wearing it however does not seems as I wish ! :(
So comfortable, so warm
I LOVE these sweater leggings and have been collecting pairs over the last few years. As a curvy woman, these have been among my favorite FP staples, as they are fit extremely well and are super comfortable. (If anything, the XLs this year have been almost too big.) These leggings are thick and warm for cold winter days; they also wash and wear extremely well (cold delicate and line dry, of course). They are also stretchy in all the right places (waist, bum, thighs), which has been nicely forgiving of my recent weight gain! This year I couldn't resist getting 4 more pairs: The plum and charcoal combos have that great contrast pattern going up the leg sides, while the cream has a soft and lovely silver print. Probably my favorite, though, are the rust pair, which has a subtly complex woven pattern that includes small bits of light blue, etc. -- and I have had ZERO problems with these unraveling at the crotch, etc. Bottom line: Can't recommend these highly enough and sure hope FP continues to offer them in coming years.
DisHeartened by Defect
I thought I was alone in this until I read the reviews now. I LOVE these leggings but I too was sooooo dismayed to discover not one, but Multiple holes outside the seam of the leggings, in the back, the Very First time I wore them and took them off. Like other reviewers here they were not too tight on me at all. I actually bought 4 pairs of these in different patterns. I even purchased a matching sweater on the site for this particular pair. I am a HUGE Free People fan making this all the sadder. I'm wondering now if even a replacement is the answer and if they would be of better quality. I love them so much. If it was the seam it could be repaired but instead it is holes OUTSIDE the seam in back. :( I am attaching a picture.

Bought these leggings in an FP store in Seattle and was supper excited to find leggings that were so comfy and still had some character. Sadly, the first time I wore them, they ended up with a small hole in the bum seam. Thought I'd be able to just sew it up, but wore them again, and the entire seam is coming undone. They aren't too tight. Actually even a bit loose... I think it has to do with the fabric. I'm very sad, as I really like these leggings :( Sadly, they are worthless.

Fell apart after second wear
I own a lot of FreePeople clothing, much of which I'm still wearing years later; these however, I only wore twice before the seam in the rear blew out and now has holes. Really disappointed for how much I paid only to not have them be wearable anymore. They also stretch out very quickly and look saggy in the knees, andt I was prepared to live with that - but with the holes I can't wear them. I purchased them in-store while I was visiting family, but I am home now and live no where near a store where I could return them, otherwise I would have taken them back immediately. Sad because they are super cute.

I purchased both the Raven Combo and Plum Combo. The Raven was a thinner sweater legging. It has stretch and can be machine washed. It fits true to size for me. The Plum Combo is thicker. It has no real stretch or give. It is Dry Clean only. It fits but is a bit snug. However the Plum Combo is gorgeous so I'm gonna have to keep them. I just think it's weird that they are different. I would suggest for the Plum to maybe go up a size. But the Raven is not necessary.
I thought I might be insane spending $60+ on leggings, but as long as these hold up, they're actually quite worth the cost. I got the black combo and raven combo, XS. Both have a good amount of pale gold in them. The mostly cotton material is decently thick, making them adequately warm for 40ish degrees-- and they stretch a little while wearing them, so I was able to add a layer under them for colder weather. Both knits are very unique and seem to be high quality. Surprisingly, they go well with a lot of my tops and aren't too flashy-- I was worried! The ankles are tight at first, but loosen. The waistband is actually really nice and comfortable, which is fantastic. I usually have trouble with pressure on my abdomen, but these feel great. Super comfy, but still classy! I thought the black combo would be too generically tribal, and the raven combo too hippie-dippie-gypsy, but they both look great paired with the right tops (I like a little more militant look). I'm petite and these hit above my heel, but I bet they stretch a little longer for taller folks. Give these a shot!
I ordered these in a size small and I love the black and white textured pattern, it's really fun. Unfortunately, they just get an average review from me because the butt gets saggy after a few hours, and the elastic in the waistband twists and cuts into your stomach in an annoying way. For the cost, they should have some spandex or something to hold their shape, and a more flattering waistband.
