A little disappointed, but keeping it anyway
I love the unique styling of this blazer. However, I was disappointed bc the description said it was lined, but it's actually only partially lined. The interfacing around the arms in completely visible on the inside of the garment. It bums me out, bc it makes it look cheap, but I'm keeping it anyway. One thing to note, if you have a sway back, you'll need to get this jacket altered so it doesn't bunch up in back. This isn't a fault with the jacket - just something to be aware of.
I bought this in Red/S size. It's a high quality blazer with a fashionable fit. I work in a startup and I wear it to work. These days, I can just wear it with a thin blouse inside. It's warmer than it seems like. Good purchase! One minus is that a tiny hidden button in the middle doesn't work. But no big deal.
Buy this blazer.
Seriously, just buy it. The quality is fantastic and it has such a soft, luxurious feel. I could not stop looking at myself in it the first time I tried it on. I know this polished blazer is a bit out of the wheelhouse for many free people customers (compared to the usual oversized, carefree Free People style profile), but at the $69 clearance price it is truly a steal. I'd have happily coughed up full price.
I love this blazer. It is so amazing either closed or open. I have a lot of blazers and this is my favorite now. I like that I can wear it almost as a shirt. I got so many compliments already. It's true to size though it would be hard to wear something heavy under it for the arms since they are more tailored then some FP jackets/blazers. I got the black and it's sharp looking and contrasts well with black jeans since it's a more satin look. Good for dressy or with a band tee.
