Oversized sheer crinkly crepe tunic in a check print with beaded, embroidered designs. Eyelet lace inserts, high collar with ties and a plunging neckline.
I loved this in the image but when received it is very large, a sheer gauze material, and the front went very low on me. Not what I was expecting and I felt swallowed in this dress. Sadly, I will be returning.
Looks just like the picture!
I got this on a whim and am pleasantly surprised with how much I like it. Though it isn't the most flattering, as tunics aren't really meant to be, I really like the way it falls and the material. With a tank top peaking out, you can add some color. Pair it with leggings or jeans, and try a belt with it - it is very versatile. My only hesitancy was the price. It is a bit much, even at the sale price, but I don't own anything like this in my wardrobe. I got an XS (I am usually between an XS and S) and feel that the fit is perfect.
Checked at the door
I tried this on in my local FP store and was shocked at how large it ran. I usually take large in FP but sized down to a medium. The sleeves and length worked better in the medium for me. This is gorgeous and would look nice over a cami or other such thing. Nicely made but will take the black strings off it, too distracting.
Loved it but too big...
I love, love this tunic, and ordered a Small because of the reviews. I am 5'7", 140 lbs, and usually wear a small free people shirt, this was so big under the arms, as it shows in the pictures. When you put your arms down, there are giant folds. I returned it.
I really tried to make this tunic work but I couldnt. I ordered a small it was HUGE. It is super long and so are the sleeves and the way the seam is along the neck it makes you look more broad. My cousin told me I looked like I was wearing a night gown , and it did so I returned it.
I purchased this beauty in the Santa Barbara store this weekend and I'm in love! True to FP sizing, this runs pretty big. I bought an XS and it's quite long and roomy. The ONLY area it could be a tad bit longer is in the arms. I'll wear this with a tank, leggings, OTK boots and a leather moto jkt in the fall.
Awesome tunic! New fall fave!
It was just as I expected from the photos, love at first sight! Wonderful embroidery detail, I love the crinkle texture, surprisingly soft and comfortable. I always buy Small from FP, but this style I had to try both XS and S to compare for best fit. I'm very glad I kept with the usual Small because the XS was contoured tighter on the top of my shoulders which would start to bug me after awhile. I thought the XS would look better, but it was an inch or so too short for me, I'm 5'7" lean. The XS sleeves were also too short for me. Because this is a raglan dolman tunic, it's supposed to be a little oversized. In order to achieve the effect and look in the photos, I recommend sticking to your true size. This is gonna be my easy go-to shirt for fall!!
This top is supposed to be oversized, but with that said...it runs very huge. I am a size 12 top and a DD bust. It is huge in my shoulder/bust area. I ordered a L. I would think I could go down a couple sizes. I am just deciding whether I will try to exchange or just return. The fabric is not exactly what I was expecting...it is a gausy material.
