I bought this water tote because I wanted to have a bottle that I could slip easily into my bag, and well, it looks so pretty! (those moons!!) BUT, the aesthetic of this container is, in my opinion, the only thing it has going for it. Despite it being pretty large and cumbersome, it hardly holds any liquid! There is probably enough in there for maybe five swigs... on top of that, it leaked in my bag the first time I used it and absolutely soaked a book that was next to it. I discarded it then, for obvious reasons, and upon coming back to it a few days later, I noticed that the metal cap had gone rusty on the inside! It isn't practical, and the functional design is terrible (who thought to add that loop in the main body?! - it makes the capacity even smaller!) So, it is fair to say that I am disappointed. It has taught me not to buy something just because of the gorgeous design on the fabric in the future though!
This is a very cute water tote, although it has a few limitations. It is big enough for 16 ounces, but I have only been able to fill it about 8 ounces because it doesn't expand very much. Also, it's a little awkward to drink out of unless you use two hands, especially when it's not full. But it's great for either hot or cold drinks, and it doesn't leak at all. You can fold it in half and easily tuck it into your bag when not in use. Overall, it's great for a day at the beach, but if you need to survive in the wilderness you should buy a canteen instead! :-)
