Each piece weighted in the hand — the heft of the metal against the cool of the shell makes this worth reaching for.

Mother of pearl and brushed gold, made up as four bar tools — a bar spoon, Hawthorne strainer, double jigger and muddler, the gold running across all four without variation. Each handle is tile-set in pearl and capped at both ends with a narrow gold collar. Against the gold the pearl shifts white to warm cream.

Pearl is slightly uneven underhand where a plain metal grip is not, which is what keeps the spoon from turning in wet fingers. Against the gold the pearl reads warm, and shifts as the tool turns. Each handle is finished on its own, so pearl tone varies across the four.

Contents

• Material: Gold-plated stainless steel and mother of pearl — solid in the hand, the metal carrying weight across all four tools while the pearl handles bring a natural iridescent shift to each piece
• Color Palette: Warm gold against white and cream pearl; the two read as one tonal family across the set
• Surface & Texture: Brushed gold — smooth, with a fine directional grain; the pearl handles are cool and lightly uneven underhand
• Natural Variation: Each handle finished individually; pearl color and pattern vary piece to piece
