Wool and jute, woven into a rug where the botanicals are one fiber and the ground is the other — trailing vines, open blooms and scattered leaves in wool, set into a flat jute field. Terracotta and dusty rose carry the flowers, slate blue and olive the leaves, dark brown the stems.

Jute is the coarse fiber and wool is the soft one, which puts the comfortable parts of this rug exactly where the flowers are. Everything between them is the rougher half. It is also the only representational pattern in the range — every other rug here is abstract, banded or tonal.
