Striped long-sleeve top with crochet and bead detailing at each cuff. Subtle hi-low hem. Rounded neckline.
I was lucky to grab one of the last left, in the black and white striped pattern. Although I am usually between an xs and small in FP tops, I know from the fitted thermals and tops I have that the medium works better overall. Unfortunately, the neckline dips so low that I couldn't make the shirt work. The rest of it - length and the sleeves - fit perfectly, but because it's a snug fitting shirt, I wouldn't be able to layer it and still get the look I wanted. I would try a size small if any were left in stock! Sad to return this one; the shirt is of great quality!
Comfy but holey
Very comfy top, I fit in XS in FP, but the XS was really uncomfy, living in Australia by the time I got it and wore it a few times (thought I was just having a fat day) didn't really realise how uncomfy it was but I adored the colors and the style, bought another one in a S, fits great, now a bit big but it works... unfortunately though both the XS and S ended up with holes in them within two wears, :( very sad! Not sure if it was just my bad luck on this one, never had any issues with wear and tear on new shirts before through FP. Have kept until I learn to sew. :P Gorgeous top though! Have used my sizing slider to refer to the XS.
Horizontal stripes aren't always a No-No
Fess up: I so love my thermals in this sort of design and they, well, they suit me to a tee (Sorry!), thus found this garment hard to resist. Was concerned not about the arms -mine are slender- but the body of this different material, pattern and manufacturer. Also , the multiple mixed reviews re: sizing, as I already sit on the border between M & L. In this instance really glad I sized up to the large and, amazingly, the olive/brown looks quite sexy on. However, glad my long hair hides the very low cut scoop as all sorts of straps would otherwise be showing at the front. (Not a flattering look for someone my age, if anyone.) And, yes, the beast is small. If it shrinks more than a quarter inch - I haven't washed it yet - I am in serious trouble. But for now, with my long legs and shorter torso, this is cut magically and I look lean and slender....which I most def. am not! Please, please - no shrinkage!!
this is a "feel good" garment….
..all around. I simply adore it. I look forward to wearing it, making a casual outfit feel special with the brass beaded touch on the sleeves. Layer it with fun tank tops to make a less revealing decolletage. I am 5'4" 116lbs. and the small works well. I've machine washed it gentle, laid it flat to dry and none of the beads have thus far been lost. I wear it and feel inspired……thanks ladies for your reviews helped me with my purchasing on line c:
Sizing is off on this top
I purchased the Medium Red/Black stripe top. I love the look of it, but the sizing appears to be off. I am a slim woman -standard size 6, 34C. The bust of the shirt runs too big for me, yet the arms are tight and in my opinion too short. I tried on both the small and large at a local department store to gauge the sizing. I could not fit my arms in the small, and the large was massive. Jennifer -
This is a cute shirt. The pink is definitely a dark salmon color as another reviewer said, and there is a style pic of it too. Sizing wise, it is similar to the synergy cuff thermal if you have that, but with less stretch. Your regular size will fit if you like a tight/very fitted fit, or size up if you like a slight roomier fit. I am 34-28-34 , and I have one in a sm and one in med. I love both!
Cute with attitude
I <3 <3 <3 this top! It's so cute and at the same time the low-ish neck and detailing on the sleeve makes it sexy in a subtle way, which I love. I got the XS, I am 132lbs 5ft6 bust 34C and pear-shaped. It fits perfectly but I will agree with all the other comments about the sleeves - they are too tight. I didn't want to get the bigger size because the shoulders and neckline would not fit as well, so I'm just dealing with tight sleeves. I got the blue, and it's just so easy to wear, it goes with everything just throw it on and run out the door knowing you look cute :-)
This is a great top. Light fabric, love the fit, and the cuff is gorgeous. I have this in 4 colors. That said, my only gripe is the neckline, or should I say neck & shoulders. I'm 5'4" and it seemed like I needed to be a few inches taller. The neckline is so low on me, I had the tailor lift 2 of them up in the shouders. I mean half my bra was sticking out. Definitely not worth tailoring. Now I'll just wear it as a layering piece. But it is a great piece. TTS, go by the measurements.
Holy god sticker shock! But sooo HOT!
This top totally exceeded my expectations. i was hesitant to get it, because I couldn't imagine it being worth nearly $80.. but oh my lord, it's one sexy casual top with beautiful cuff details! I sized up to a medium, based on the other reviews. It is true that the material does not provide any stretch, but it still fits me very loosely.. and the neck is very wide. I am totally keeping it in this size, though, even though my usual small will definitely fit. Why am I keeping the medium? The looser fit is very sexy! It reveals just a bit of bra strap, too.. ha. My husband was literally all over me when I tried it on (sorry, TMI). Keep in mind, though, the loose fit *can* look odd on certain body types. If you can, I suggest trying on both your regular size and one size up in the store.
I lucked out and got this top for $30 on a boxing day sale. However... I totally would have payed full price! I love it so much. It's warm and looks great layered or on it's own. Im 5'9" measurements 34-29-34, and the Medium fits great... not too tight or too loose. Highly Recommend this one!
