Rockstar Santa Hawtness
I struggled with ordering this. Upon first glance of the model wearing this, I was in love. An irreverent nod to Santa I thought....I wrung my hands over the possibiity that it would come off as comical and not cool. I finally went for it. The sizing options offered were not my favorite, as I often wear two different sizes in suit jackets and pants. You're probably stuck with altering one of the pieces, if this is you. The price was a tad annoying, but, I hoped it would be well made. I received the size 4 and it was too big, so I returned it for the size 2 (5"5 125 lbs, athletic)and I love it. I probably should alter the pants smaller by a bit, but who has time? The holidays are upon us. I digress...The previous review is accurate to a degree...the lining and craftsmanship is OK, a tiny bit better than average, but by no means amazing. I kept it for the awesome flavor when hanging with the conservative client Christmas dinners I must attend this season. Only compliments so far, and nobody has once said I look like Santa;) (I'd recommend you avoid wearing any black boots or white fur with this outfit though, to ensure staying in that rad edgy lane...last thing you'd want is to look like a mall elf)
man, i um'd and ar'd over this deluxe velvet combo for weeks. i finally caved. such a disappoint. the quality of the fabric was shocking. at the price, i was expecting luxuriously draping velvet, but, the material felt cheap and the lining was not what i'd expected. the color was way more vibrant than rust. the fit was roomy. well, the pants fit like oversized boyfriend jeans (not the slim look on the model) and the jacket was fairly true to size. had to return this outfit. too bad because the potential was definitely there. perhaps it would suit a different body type. i'm 5'8" , 120 if that helps a potential buyer decide whether or not my review is relevant.
