Keep it in check one piece review
This is certainly one of THE cutest one pieces I own. I have a mechanics suit, the chambray one piece (sleeveless & backless), the Christy jumpsuit by Line & Dot, (all sold at here) and this one. I love it's versatility. Although I've not found a tag on the inside that tells me how to launder it; I believe the website says its machine washable; so, I'd wash in cold with Woolite, on the gentle cycle. It almost has a linen feel to it; however, it's a medium weight cotton. This piece is unique in that there are buttons on the hips to adjust the fit ! So it can look bigger/more boxy in the waist area; or you can go for a more tailored look. I am typically a L (12) in FP, & this was no exception. It's a classic piece; the length is perfect, the sleeve length is three-quarter length, and it will look amazing with booties, heels, or flats. The check pattern is complimentary- no, it doesn't draw attention to the 'wrong' places- or make you look bigger. (I have a pooch belly & it hides it well) ! This is a go to piece; in that it works great for a lunch/dinner date, a special occasion, or for work. Add accessories that pop, earrings, & you're out the door ! You can also cuff the bottoms if you're a tall girl, & it will look amazing. I'm 5.4.5 & it hits me at the ankle. This piece may be an item you can wear year round. It's that comfy to me. AND IT'S ON SALE ! I hope this helps !
I found this in my local FP store, and to be honest it didn't look super flattering on the hanger but I decided to try it on anyhow. It was love at first site! It fits really well and has adjustable sides and ankle widths. Very comfy, easy to pair with ankle boots or flats, a go to piece. It fit true to size for me, my normal size large. For reference I'm 5"8, 42" bust, 33" waist, 43" hip and weigh 180 lbs. 36DDD. I would highly recommend this piece!
I just bought this at my local FP and it's very flattering on. It fits true to size, so if you're a medium in most clothes, you would take a medium in this. It's not oversized and is much nicer in person than in these photos. If you want it to look boxy (like the photos), size up.
