A Must-Have Part of Your Wardrobe!
Love, love, love this princess-like skirt!!! Ladies it's even prettier in person than in photos. I like that it doesn't flounce out like some of the more ballerina/tutu skirts I've seen. It is long though, so be mindful of that. The nude shade is kind of a champagne-beige, and it is a joy to wear. Dress it up or down, but especially when it's on sale? Oh heck yeah.
If you want this beauty, go a size down if here's a large difference between waist and hip circumference. I thought they would size to the waist as it is in the pictures, but the 8 fits me around my hips, and is far too long as a result. Since there's no smaller skirts left, I'll need to get it tailored to fit. Other than that it's a delightful skirt that I'll wear for years to come. One of my fp faves.
Diaphanous skirt with gorgeous layers and hemline. The look is flowy and ethereal, not poofy as many "tutu inspired" skirts/dresses can be. Does not add bulk to the hips at all. A more refined take on the nude/mesh/sheer trend- sexy but not so "look at me I'm naked." The only drawback is the length. It is SO LONG. This is a common issue for me with Free People clothing. Still love this skirt, though!
