Crafted from recycled fabric traditionally used for bedding in India, this vibrant and eco-conscious pouch is a perfect blend of style and practicality. Each piece is constructed by hand, reflecting the fabric’s unique cuts, ensuring no two are alike. The handle, repurposed from vintage sling belts, adds a touch of rugged charm with its faded hues and naturally distressed character, while also providing a convenient wrist loop for effortless portability. Embracing a raw, artisanal aesthetic, the fabric’s subtle flaws, such as skipped stitches and delicate quilting irregularities, is intentional and a defining trait of its handmade appeal. Perfect for carrying essentials with ease, this pouch is a bold, sustainable statement piece with a story.

Since its founding in Japan in 2007, the brand has operated on the premise that the most interesting materials are those that already have a life behind them. Puebco works with salvaged and reclaimed sources — recycled military tents and clothing, decommissioned mail bags, truck upholstery, and repurposed parachutes — redesigning them into garments, bags, rugs, and home goods and bringing new life to the materials. Items are made in small batches to keep overproduction minimal and each run intentional.

PUEBCO

Puebco was founded by Tokyo-based designer Hirotaka Tanaka in 2007 by the simple notion of creating things instinctively, using found and recycled materials to curate renewed lifestyle items. Their goal is to create a range of products made from recycled materials, as well as unique objects that have been found and in some instances repurposed.
