For Love & Lemons
Derived from those sun-soaked "Lemonade Stand Days," designers, owners, and BFF's Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall are the masterminds behind For Love & Lemons. Based in Los Angeles, the collection is anything but conventional. For Love & Lemons is a brand for that girl who doesn't follow trends, she makes them.
Sort of underwhelming for me
I love this dress in all the photos, but for me it was a little bit of a let down when I received it. The slip is a bit odd, with elastic around the legs, and the dress was a little too delicate for comfort. It pulls along the embroidery and looks like it will rip without too much effort, plus the bottom is not hemmed (which I should have noticed from the photo -- my fault). Overall, I have gotten better stuff from FP and For Love and Lemons. I like the ethereal maxi set much better -- the skirt is hemmed and the material is more sturdy. I am a huge fan of both these brands, but this dress didn't do it for me. I'm just about to drop it back in the mail.
I am very disappointed! I paid $ 300, but today I got full of holes dress plus is not what I ordered !!!! Another style! With open back! And with holes !

Amazing amazing amazing amazing. I knew I was going to love this dress before I received it. And I do. I love it so much. I ordered the small because there was no XS left, and I just figured I'd have to wear one of my own slips with it because anything bigger than an XS is usually way too long for me (I'm 5"5"). However, this whole thing—the slip, the maxi—are exactly perfect in the size small and I wouldn't change either. The slip is still super mini, and the maxi is clingy and form-fitting everywhere. It is just the sexiest thing. As another reviewer said, the slip provides no support, but the only thing I'm going to deal with is the visible nips (and some skin stickers should do for that.) Beyond that, I'll be still going bra-less. Also to note: the placement of the flowers on the dress is totally random, and you just have to cross your fingers that you get the look you want. For me, that was tons of flowers on the front. And I got it. Weeeeee! For reference, I am 120 lbs and a 32D, and my FP dress size is always a 0 (XS). If you can justify the expense, this is highly, highly recommended!
I love this dress but the sizing is odd
I had to return a size small for an XS and it fits well, much better than the small. I am 5'2" wear a size 25 pant and am a 32D bra size. I was worried that the XS slip would not fit my bra size but it is very stretchy and roomy there. On the other hand, the rest of this slip is veryyy tight (as it should be) and fits the rest of my body well. It is a bit of a struggle to get it on and off because it is so small but once it is on it fits great. Also, the slip is very thin and doesn't have any support so I am looking to buy some sort of backless bra to wear under it. In the picture the long part of the dress looks like it would also be very tight, but for me it isn't. It is pretty loose fitted and I don't even need to open the zipper to put it on. It is absolutely beautiful and I totally love it!
