Effortlessly oversized printed buttondown mini dress featuring hip pockets. Pleat detailing along the neckline. Lined.
I love it
I bought this in the black. It will be a great top for the winter, as it's a decently thick tunic. I bought a Large and though it is cut big, I like the way it looks. I especially like the full cut sleeves. I'm 5'8*" so I'll probably wear it with leggings or jeans as I'm not crazy about short dresses. If there weren't so many other FP things I wanted I'd get the white, too. Very pretty!
Beautiful but falls apart
I love this dress...or at least I did--- Wore it once, washed it, and about 10 buttons fell off-- MAYBE, I can understand ONE coming off, after wear...but 10? The fabric is of good quality so I just don't understand how it simply can be falling apart.

Love This ❤️
I just received the white one and I am just waiting on the black. I love this and I would usually not spend this much to be honest but it's really pretty. It needs a light iron it came wrinkled but other than that it's great. I am 5'2 I weigh 148 38c I got the small and it works for me. I just need a real cool belt and I am all set. I might order the last color Gold. Now to wait for cool weather here In Cali and we are all set to go.
Disappointed in quality!
The fit of this dress is very large, I really wish that their had been a XXS option because its very roomy although I've had countless people tell me that the dress looked "comfortable". For reference I'm 105 pounds and 5ft 3ish. The pattern is pretty but I really wish FP was better with quality control as it arrived with two buttons falling off!! It also had a small tear on the sleeve, its my second FP purchase where I faced a fault and I think it may have to be my last :/

It's in the fabric...
I have this tunic in alabaster. The color combination is appropriate for every season. The exceptional materials and solid construction of this tunic assure its durability. The classic "hippie chic" design makes this a staple you can update with trendy accessories for years to come. Great quality is always a good value. I was concerned that the cream color would be too yellow for me, but the ivory background has a pink blush that compliments olive/dark skin tones. I love the graphic print. It is bold, but not overwhelming. The teal, berry and gold hues are bright and well defined. Yes, there is a lot of fabric here. However, the cloth is delicate enough to create the graceful movement a tunic should have without appearing too bulky. The subtle texture and the fluid drape of the fabric work beautifully together to give this dress a billowy, romantic feel. This tunic is very lightweight. It is comfortable enough to wear in the warmest climates. The fabric is relatively sheer, but the combination of pattern and volume make it substantial enough to conceal a neutral colored bra without any additional layers.
Very large but very comfy
This dress is HUGE on me and because I have boobs it has to be worn with a belt to cinch in waist otherwise I look like a giant blob - it is however very comfy tho the material was thicker than I expected and the Alabaster combo color I picked had more brown in it than I realized form the picture. Its also very short but I am 5ft9 so many things are short on me. Think I will wear over leggings more as a tunic
HUGE, HUGE, HUGE!
Fabulous color, print & fabric but GIGANTIC! No way was this SZ small flattering on a 5'2" frame. Kept trying it on again & again, hoping somehow it would look fabulous. Just did not work for me. ( I looked like a clown!) Sadly returned.
Love this dress!
Not at all sheer, so I do not understand the lining, but this will insure year round wear for me. I ordered a full size smaller than normal and it fits a bit large, but that's part of the charm, I think. Flattering and pretty colors - I bought the golden and came back for onyx. GREAT value on sale.
Runs very large
I spotted this dress in Onyx on the sale rack today at Free People and went for a small, which is my usual Free People size. I'm 5'10 and a size 6, so the fact that I'm a small to begin with is pretty crazy -- I'm a medium everywhere else. And I was absolutely swimming in fabric in the small. I sized down to the extra small, which is a little short in the arms on me, though unbuttoning the top few buttons helps create a little give in the shoulders and lengthen the sleeves (and it makes it look less milk-maidy). The extra small makes it fit me pretty much the way it does in the stock photos, although it's a little more tent-like on me since I have a considerable chest and the models don't. Obviously the extra small is short on me, so I'll have to wear shorts underneath this to be able to wear it out in public. It seems to be a good quality garment and is certainly pretty, and it's nice that this dress comes with a detachable slip, but the slip in the extra small fits me like a long tank top -- there's no way I can actually wear it. Free People's sizing is all over the place. I don't really understand it. If someone my height, who is slim but not THAT skinny, can swim in the fabric of a small, who exactly are they thinking of when they size these clothes? I'd say size down one in your FP size, two in your normal size, when buying this.
