So Good, I Ordered Another One!
I LOVE this cardigan! The pockets are adorable, the sleeves are the perfect length (to mid hand) and it's adorable with a white tank, ripped jeans and flip flops. I have it in blue and just ordered a second in black. I'm 5'4
I'm petite, size 4 and got the S because I have a larger bust and arms, but I could have worn the XS. It's very soft and stretchy. It isn't too long for petites, and it's super lightweight so it's a great layering piece for warmer weather. I ended up getting three colors - black, taupe and fatigue. Machine wash and dry and it comes out looking great. I would love to get another in ivory or white for summer.
Go to cardi
Ribbed up maxi cardi in Small, true to size, only had small in black but, if possible, would have chosen Medium. (5'7, 135lbs). I use it all of the time, however, now that the Dana Cardi is now on a phenomenal sale, I have purchased two of those, slate and seafoam - great additions to the FP cardi collection! I highly recommend this one too, just wish it hit a sale like the Dana's.
Not enough in stock colors
I absolutely love the sweater I do feel it runs ssmaller than it used to. I don't feel that my chest got any bigger but when you button it all the way up if you want to wear it as a dress it is very tight across the chest and bunches. I used to wear mediums but now I wear larges and they seem to fit better . However it seems that everybody wears larges and there are not any in stock In most of the available colors. Free people can you please re-order so that I can get some other colors in large :-)
I have this cardi in 3 colors. It's great during our Orange County summers to throw on when it gets a little chilly in the evening; very lightweight. I love that when out and about I can scrunch it up and stuff it in my purse easily, then shake it out and put it on and it still looks great! I've even worn it fully buttoned up as a house dress or nightie. The arms are snug fitting but the body is comfortable. And it comes in all the colors of the rainbow, so go nuts!
not very happy
the cardigan is cute and when i first received it, i thought it was exactly what i was looking for. but after having it for a few months the sleeves are starting to unravel and fray. the pockets are also a bit too slouchy. i don't think it should be so pricey because it does not last and is cheaply made.
Nice shape but cheap finish, cheap fabric
I bought this cardigan just a little while ago, and while I was excited about it I found this cardigan not to be exceptional for the price, however I decided to keep it mostly because of the very flattering shape. This morning, after using it only a couple times, I found out that has a hole in the bottom front. This is unacceptable for a garment that costs this much! Free People really need to work in the quality because no matter how nice an item looks like, if the fabric or finish is this cheap, it doesn't justify the price at all! Now I have an expensive cardigan with a hole! Wish I could return it!
Not worth $78 :(
I ordered this cardigan partly due to the glowing reviews, but when it arrive in the mail I was disappointed. It is thinner and less "luxe" than it looks in the pictures. It is also pretty loose. The deal breaker for me though were the pockets. They hang open at the hips in a way that just looks sloppy to me. Combined with the unfinished hems of the bottom and sleeves, it just was not something I would ever pay $78 for. I would have kept it if it was $20. FP has much nicer cardis for just as much or less.
The best purchase ever
I love this cardigan! It is the most flexible item in my wardrobe, it goes well with everything, from Summer to harsh Winter in Wisconsin! It is a great layering piece, I am ordering another one!!!!
