Slouchy utilitarian jumpsuit with crossover back and peek-a-boo detail. Drawstring waist, four pocket design, and hidden button closure. Cinched cuffs at ankles with drawstring pulls.
Wow. What a cool jumpsuit! It almost fit...I am tempted to just lose weight and try to squeeze into it....I bought the size 12 and if they had it in a little bigger size I would definitely buy it. Might give this lovely item to my daughter. I really like Free People Clothing - so different. Cheers! Happy Shopping. I always read reviews and wanted this item because somebody said she wore it all summer.
I ordered this jumper in olive in a size 2. I read that the top dipped down a bit low, so I was worried about that. I received it today after just a few days. I was so happy about the speedy delivery. This jumper fits perfectly. The open back accentuates the booty, and the top wasn't too low. I'm a 32D, so I don't know if that makes the difference. Overall, terrific fit.
roaring rayon jumpsuit, washed black, size 4
I really love the look of this romper, and was set on the washed black color. I waited and waited for my size to come back in stock, but when only a few were left in size 4, I decided it would be close enough and purchased it. I was so excited to receive it, but unfortunately, it just didn't work. Sizing up was ok for the pants part, but the top was very loose and low-cut. I considered taking it in, but then decided that for $150, it wouldn't be worth it. So back it goes. I really needed a size 2 at most, even a 0. Other than that, I think it would be as awesome as it looks in the pictures if it were the correct size.
Five stars through the roof!
I LOVE THIS JUMPSUIT!!!! It is so cute, with the opening in the back and the opening in the back hits just the right areas. Wow, I can't wait to wear this. Quality feel great, I love the buttons can s-e-x- it up by unbuttoning or close'm. Worth every penny, need it in the other color too.
I really like this jumpsuit. The look is great - the top is a bit loose, but will wear a tank or pretty bra under. I'm 5'7" tall and the pants are NOT short in the least! I was a bit surprised. And yes, it comes rolled up in a ball and wrinkled, but washed up nicely. The color is pretty much like the photos, faded black look. I ordered a 6, and I'm 125 lbs. Should definitely have taken a 4 and still would have plenty of room and length. I'd stick to your normal size. A bit pricey.
Great comfy jumpsuit!
I have one romper but like some other reviewers this is my first jumpsuit. This was on sale at my local FP store, and after trying it on I just had to get it. Size 0 was the only one available, and to my surprise it still fit pretty roomy. For reference, i'm a 27 or 28 in most FP jeans and wear a XS or S in most FP shirts. 130lbs, 5.7. athletic shape but some but and boob :). I personally don't care much for the open back part. The front cut is pretty low so depending on the occasion i wear a tank top under it. A good first piece for jumpsuit "virgins" since it can be worn with a sweater on top as well.
sadly this didnt work
I really wanted to love this & really it didn't look bad. I'm 5'4", 120lbs, 34C & I ordered a size 4 based on some reviews. While the bottom fit great, the top was pretty loose & kept creeping down in the front exposing more cleavage than I am comfortable with. I probably could have sized down to a 2 but in the end it cost to much to not love 100% so it went back and I ordered the Soft Utility Jumpsuit instead. But had it fit in the right places this would be really cute. It was very soft & comfy.
Sadly, a disappointment
Ordered this in a 6 for my daughter. It came in a very small, narrow plastic bag and when I pulled it out, it was a mass of wrinkles. Seriously, bad, wrinkles. In looking at the jumpsuit, I felt that the cut on the thighs was very narrow. I was hoping that the wrinkles were just a mistake in packaging, so I ordered another one, this time in an 8 and was going to keep both for her to try on as a Christmas gift. Well, the 8 arrived and was just as wrinkled, if not worse, than the first one. And there was virtually no difference in the cut of the thighs. My daughter is usually a 28/29 in pants, even skinnies, and the 8 was so tight in the thighs that it looked bad. I might give it one more try and order the 10. I don't know if more recent cuts of this jumper are more narrow than they used to be, but seriously the upper leg is very narrow and looks strange next to the overall cut of the rest of the jumper. I would size up unless you have very thin legs. And be prepared to spend at least 20-30 minutes steaming the wrinkles out.
A Favorite Piece
I am in love with this jumpsuit. Not only is it super comfortable, but it's also very versatile. I love the way it makes my butt look, and the opening at the back adds a little bit of sexiness to a rather rugged piece. I probably wear this jumpsuit about every other week. It also looks cute with sweaters on top of it, which makes it look like you are just wearing cargo pants (if you want to mix up the look.) You can wear it with boots or sneakers. Amazing piece!
Sexy and hardworking
Have worn this pretty much every day all summer. Probably the most comfortable and indestructible garment I've ever worn and the most unlikely-to-be-drop-dead-sexy but it is. It's seriously smokin' hot while looking strictly utilitarian, devastating. Never gotten so much "geez that's seriously sexy" attention in anything this effortless.
