soooo cute but sadly too tight :(
I was so excited when these arrived, the Jeffery Campbell box is so beautiful. Unfortunately when I put them on, I was able to get them on and zipped BUT it was so tight I couldn't walk. I am a true 8 and I really needed an 8.5. I'll be talking these back asap .
You can always trust JC!
Ever since I bought my first pair of Jeffery Campbell shoes, I've been in love with this brand! Their shoes are always so comfy and stylish. You don't have to break in at all! It did not let me down this time either. The shoes are super cute and comfortable. Easy to wear and make me so happy. Highly recommend!
I got married this last summer and was looking for a boho neutral flat to wear with my wedding dress. Free People is always one of my go to places to shop so of course I started browsing their site. When I found these shoes of course I fell in love and so did everyone else I showed them to. They went perfectly with my dress and I had so many people ask me about them. Ive even worn them several times after and they are so fun to style with many different things. I'm always getting looks and compliments with them. And bonus, they're soon comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend.
Please restock Black Size 5!
I have about 10 pairs of lace up flats from various stores at different price points, and these Shay flats have truly gotten the most rotation of all. Comfortable right away with no breaking in required, I only had to redo the laces so that it fits a little tighter on my skinny feet (I do an X in front instead of the parallel lines). I have the Dark Brown in 5, which fit my 22cm feet perfectly. The zipper is super convenient, which solves the problem and disadvantage for other lace up flats. Really bummed that FP does not intend to restock the Black in size 5. Why is that so? It seems to me size 5 always sells out the fastest for most FP shoe styles (likewise XXS and XS for clothes). Either not enough are being made or demand is not being met, which is such a pity for the company and for the customers. In the past, FP has been very responsive to constructive feedback, I hope someone out there is listening this time.
Love the style, problems with zipper
I really loved the style of the flats, but had problems opening the zipper while wearing them. In fact I couldn't get out unless I untied the lace, for that reason I returned them.
GORGEOUS and comfortable
I got my shoes this week. I have already worn them twice. I cannot begin to tell you how cute they are. The suede is beautiful and soft. My foot is a little wide but it was NO problem. I wore them with a short skirt out with friends then wore them to work the next day with a longer skirt. I got so many compliments on these shoes. I got them in black but am going to get them in another color.
Super Cute with a Few Issues
I got them in black and they are adorable. I didn't notice any pinching in the toes. I'm a size 5, which is the smallest size they come in. The back of the shoes have a lot of room. Because of the design of the shoe I'm still able to wear them and they don't fall off. So they are loose, but useable. They dent easily and don't pop back so you have to be really careful because they are so delicate. Not something you want in a pair of shoes, but since I wore them it's not like I can return them. If you're super careful and store them safely you could be fine. It's a bit like walking on cardboard, so you'll need some inserts. The material isn't too breathable and the fabric stains your feet when you sweat. Still they are cute. Way too expensive to justify the quality, but when you have size 5 feet you don't have many options. I think they are cute and wore them at the airport running around without any pain.
cute but RUNS SMALL
I only sometimes have this problem with JC shoes, but I typically wear a US9 and I had to order a size up in these. I ordered the 9 at first, and they were crushing my toes so badly I know I'd never be able to wear them, so I ordered the 9.5. the 9.5 is still SNUG on my foot. Just at the toes, so maybe it's just that these are pointy, but its snug. I have the burnt orange color and its beautiful and the quality is nice. I could've ordered up to a US 10 and I think they'd still fit tighter that I'm used to...
