Changed my life

This wasn't my cup of tea on the website ( I didn't like the super long back). But upon trying on, I saw the reason for its mass appeal. It conveys cool, secure, confident...and makes me want to live up to it ;) I'm 34-27-36 and the small drapes beautifully on me like on model. One star off for scratchy material.

WEIRD FITTING

  • Age: 14-20

I got this in the colours navy and grey combo in both smalls, but the grey combo fits bigger, like a size bigger. The fabric is kind of itchy, but very warm! perfect for Canadian winter, and it looks super cute. The sizing is just really weird, maybe I got a bad batch? Will be exchanging for the right size.

It is so-so

I don't know... It is alright I guess, but nothing special, doesn't even look or feel like a Free People garment. Sort of blah... I would never pay the whole price for it. I bought it for forty and it is exactly what it's worth, not a penny more. But it washes well in the washer, doesn't fall apart like other FP pieces tend to do, so it's a plus.

Favorite Slouchy Sweater!

  • Age: over 45
  • Body-type: athletic
  • Location: Ocean Shores, Washington

I love this sweater! The fitted (not tight) sleeves give it some shape and it looks so cute over the tattered edge slip or the voile slip! Or with skinny jeans and tall boots. Love! To address the review that said the material was "itchy" - I always hand wash anything before I wear it, and this seemed to soften up the sweater. I didn't find it scratchy at all. I got the grey combo and this will be versatile throughout many seasons here in the pacific north west.I'm usually a S in fp and that's what I got - could've used a XS because it is very over-sized, but I don't mind the extra slouchyness :)

Slouchy Stripe Pullover

I wanted this sweater so badly, it was out of stock....I was so excited when it restocked. I loved the taupe color, it was a nice light knit, however...it is huge! I ordered a large, and I was swimming in it. I would suggest to size down, it will still be loose and have the slouchy look. Also I really didn't like the really long backside , alittle is OK, but this was way to much fabric. I sadly returned it...very sadly. .

Looks cool - feels itchy and cheap

  • Age: 36-40
  • Body-type: long and lean
  • Location: London, UK

Such a shame - this top feels weirdly plasticky against the skin. Usually FP clothes are dreamily soft but this felt pretty nasty - that is the only reason I'm not keeping it. It looks super cool so I'm well disappointed. Feels like something you'd buy in a pound shop or back street market. I am a slim 5'10 and the Small was pretty massive on me, long sleeves - perfect - and roomy but hangs well. However the material is just grim. I imagine if you get on the underground or train and get hot, this would be absolutely awful to wear. Sending it back sadly.

favorite pullover

I was pretty hesitant when buying this pullover because it was a little pricey, but now that I have had it for the past week, I have worn it SO many times already! It is super loose and comfy, and it is def an every season kind of sweater. The sweater does run large so size down! I really enjoy the boxy-ness of it, it is PERFECT to pair with the trapeze slip. Totally recommend it and it is worth the money.
