I love Indigo Calico quilts from the late 1800s, and it's rare to find one with such a beautiful wide navy border. I knew this would make an amazing Haori vest. This style has a wide shawl collar with a small original hand embroidered initials at the bottom edge which is so special. This style is a touch longer with large side slits on each side for easy movement, large patch pockets and banded sleeves. This Haori vest is great to layer over everything and is great to transition into warmer months as well, as the quilt is a light weight "summer" weight quilt. This is a relaxed fit, unisex and one size style.
