Great dress if you don't have arms...
I ordered this dress in a size 2, which is my normal size and when I received it I literally could not get it on because the sleeves were so tight! I returned it and ordered a size 4 instead and was able to get the dress on this time but the sleeves were still WAAAAYYY too tight. I couldn't even get the sleeves up over my shoulders. AND the waist was now too loose and the length longer than I wanted. (I'm 5'4'') Sooo I was really excited about this dress but it ended up being a disappointment. The proportions are really weird... Will return. Don't buy if your arms are normal.
Pretty, but tight in the sleeves
Tried this on in my normal FP dress size 0, and it was pretty, but I could barely get my arms into the sleeves without ripping them open. The issue is at the shoulders, right at the seam. I was left with the sleeve and shoulder seams sitting somewhere on my bicep, even after I struggled for a bit. Also, the lace seems pretty pretty cheap, very like the stuff used on the FP Point D'Esprit Maxi Slip, and I think that it would pick and get fuzzy. It's definitely cute, though, if you can get over the flaws.
Runs small and looks cheap
I bought this dress in a 4 when I typically wear a 2 or XS in FP because I was worried about the lace sleeves being too tight. When I got it in the mail I couldn’t even get it over my shoulders. I lift weights and I typically have issues with lace sleeved dresses at FP but normally a 4 would fit me. Aside from the fit the dress wouldn’t have been a keeper anyway. The neckline although cute online is really delicate and it looks like the thin black lace that goes around your neck can be easily torn or ripped. The maroon fabric looks cheap and deters from the beautiful black lace. Also, the length was very short on me at 5’3” tall.
