Made a statement in these super luxe lace-up ankle boots featured in an animal print. Inside zip closure for an easy on/off. Stacked block heel.
When I first saw these boots I just about died because they are gorgeous and SO different looking - but $400 was way out of my price range. When I saw them go down to $150 I nearly screamed! I ordered these in a size 38 and to my surprise, when they arrived they were a size 39!! I was so bummed but because they were so beautiful, I decided to give it a shot and throw on some thick socks. However, this wasn't even the biggest problem - the zipper on the right boot immediately ripped out when I began to pull them up to head out. How could these boots be constructed so poorly for the price? And how could that zipper malfunction so easily when these boots were a size too big for me in the first place?! I want to try to fix them myself or take them into a shop but I know it will cost me due to the fragile construction of the boot....I just expected more for my price and I guess I will have to be more conscious where I order my boots moving forward... :(

Did I just get back from Europe?
I have been stalking these boots for a while, and when they went on sale I jumped! They are as pretty and unique as I'd hoped; the croc print is so cool and vintage looking, the lace up front is stellar, and the stacked heel is stable with just enough height. The only problem was with the fit. I hurriedly put them on, and they were pretty tight across the ball of the foot (I have a medium width, size 8 foot). I took them back off, loosened up and readjusted the laces, and they went on mush easier. I've had them on for about an hour and so far so good. A half size larger probably would be perfect. If you don't want to look like everyone else and like things that are unique and look like they're from somewhere far away, these are for you.
