Stunning long Venetian gold foil beaded sautoir necklace from the 20s. Would have been worn over a flapper dress back in the day. The beads are made in Murano. Each bead under a clear layer of glass has gold foil center, creates an amazing metallic effect. Different size beads with patinated brass decorative elements. Long core necklace has a few larger beads placed symmetrically. At bottom is a tassel made of 4 strands in coordinating beads.Old clasp at neck. On original cord.
This item is vintage and pre-loved. As such, it may show signs of wear and age. Has patina and wear to metal. When hanging can see about a 1/4" of cord by clasp.
