The Vintage 1950s Floral Eyelet Dress is a rare vintage piece designed by Ceil Chapman, who’s best remembered today as Marilyn Monroe's favorite designer. It’s fashioned with allover floral eyelet embroidery and a softly layered, apron-like skirt design framed by cascading ruffles. A petite rounded collar, sheer upper neckline, and short sleeves frame the embroidered bodice. Airy panels and cascading ruffles extend down the full-length skirt, adding dimension around the central eyelet panel. The back fastens with a combination of pearl-like buttons and snap closures. If you can’t dance in it, why wear it? xx, Kiko
