Vintage 1962 Signed Åke Stavenow Mid-Century Modernist Sterling Silver Malachite Necklace

This necklace is by designer Åke Stavenow, of Stockholm Sweden. It’s hallmarked for sterling silver and the year 1962, when it was made. It features a rectangle green malachite stone in an elegant minimalist setting. The long station chain is beautifully crafted and closes with a large hook. This necklace a an amazing piece of mid century Scandinavian design history.
