Antique Edwardian vintage "pigeon-breasted" "lingerie dress" a popular style during the 1900s-1920s. Constructed of soft, sheer cotton, the dress features a button-up back with hand-crocheted button covers, eyelet lace, and many hand-made lace details at the neck and cuffs. Delicate, hand-sewn hook-and-eye closures at back. Meant to be worn over foundation garments from the period, this dress translates beautifully into the modern wardrobe. Paneled front gathered at waist. "Lingerie" historically refers to the thin and light weight of the fabric, this dress is a piece of textile history.

• Very good vintage condition, please note, this is a delicate, sheer antique piece, it is wearable as-is, there are many tiny pin holes where the fabric has worn through through, not particularly noticable when worn
