Super special watch i bought a looonngggg time ago and always held onto because i thought it was so pretty - great to stack with bracelets or wear alone as a special statement piece.
to wind: remove watch from your wrist, grasp the crown between your thumb and index finger, and turn it slowly in a clockwise direction (away from you) until you feel firm resistance As you turn the crown, the mainspring tightens and you will feel the tension gradually increase. Most vintage manual-wind movements take about 20 to 30 turns. Stop winding immediately the moment you feel a firm, hard stop. Forcing a vintage manual-wind watch past this point can snap or damage the delicate mainspring, recommended to wind once a day at same time every day.
to set time: pull the crown out and always rotate the hands clockwise. Turning vintage hands backward can jam or damage older gear trains.
