The Vintage Scaasi Silk Satin Wedding Gown is a 1992 sculptural bridal masterpiece crafted from white silk satin, with a fitted, boned bodice and softly flared mermaid silhouette. This true collectors piece has dramatic hand-shaped satin rosettes encircling the lower skirt, creating a beautiful and dimensional transition into the voluminous hem. Tulle beneath the lower skirt lends structure and fullness to the flare, which extends into a long train for added movement and drama. Designed by Eva Haynal Forsyth for Scaasi Bridal, this gown is finished with an exaggerated sweetheart off-the-shoulder neckline, a back zipper closure, and a traditional over-bustle hidden beneath the rosettes to allow for easy dancing after the ceremony is over.
