Do Not Wash! (Even on cold.)
Bought this shirt in 2 colors because I loved the fit, softness of the fabric and swing. They are a little see through but not bad. Washed both of them on cold, delicate wash and layed flat to dry. Now they are the length of crop tops! Not a good look with this style. So disappointed. Do not purchase.
Hi syrah, I'm so sorry to hear about this! Someone from our team will be in touch with you! -Free People
I bought this in both xs and small to try it out and had to return both! I'm 5'4 and 110 and the top just overwhelmed me and made me look like a camping tent. The length would probably flatter a taller person, but even in the model photos- the top looks too loose and shapeless. The one upside is that the blue color is quite pretty and matches with any color pants.
Perfectly oversized flowy top!
I got this in the cream and cadet blue in a size small. The blue is true to color and its beautiful, definitely my favorite one , however the cream is a lot more ivory than white as shown in the pictures. Im 5'5 and usually a medium but i got a small which fits perfectly, these run pretty big so definitely size down. Overall a really cute top that looks great with leggings or shorts for a more casual look. The only negative thing is that the stitching in the back of the shirt is really delicate and when i put the shirt on over my head i could hear the stitches breaking.
DON'T YA DARE WASH IT
'm 5'7 and 130 lbs and typically like to buy my shirts a size or two up, I like the loose style. I decided to get this shirt in a medium because I wanted to wear it with a skirt and didn't want the back of it to be too incredibly long. Although it looked perfect with my skirt, I wouldn't wear the medium with jeans because it's is just too short in the front for me. I also made the terrible mistake of washing it and now it's miniature (like a lot of free people clothes, you can't wash them carelessly). Anyways, this top is perfect for layering and it's super soft.
I loved this top when I got it but I only wore it 2 times because I got a little stain on it and wanted to wash it. Unfortunately it shrunk. It used to be oversized and now it's a crop top with quarter-length sleeves! So disappointed :(
On the website (and even on a friend's pictures), this shirt looked so cute. Frankly, it looks very different in pictures than in person, though. Unfortunately also, the fabric is awful. it's incredibly thin and see-through and wears thinner and holy-er with every wear. Would not recommend.
I'll Wear It
I've never understood why freeps makes these amazing looking tops. It appears as though you can toss it on quickly without a thought, but no this shirt is extremely see through (given I did buy the ivory one). I wear it with another long sleeve tee underneath though and love the look. BIG fan of the back, it flows perfectly. Word of caution, like most freeps things, do not make the mistake of putting it in the dryer - it turns into a crop top.
one wash and done
loved this shirt and the style but after one wash and hung to dry it looks small enough to fit my daughter. I might have messed up by washing? would love to try again but nervous now
This didn't look like much on the hanger but I decided to give it a try and I thought it hangs really nice in back. A little front tuck is needed to keep it in place, but if you like the drape of the Circle in the Sand Tee, you may like this as well. It has the same look in the back. The material is very thin, so I took a star off for that and a star off for the price. Having tons of fp clothing, this one will start sprouting holes eventually, even w/hand washing. The army color is wonderful and I do like the look, just not very substantial for $80+.
