Swingy long sleeve tee featuring a scoop neckline and an oversized, shapeless silhouette. High-low hem and contrast seaming. Relaxed fit.
I loved this shirt. Washed it and did not dry it. It shrunk, terribly. I am beyond disappointed and want a refund because I had high expectations. Do not buy. NOT WEARABLE.
Hi sjlytle, We're sorry to hear about this! Someone from our team will be in touch. -Free People
I bought two of these tops in the store in Philadelphia. I bought the medium after the store clerk convinced me that the small would be a little too short and even though the medium was too large, it would shrink up a little in the wash. I gently washed both on a cold setting and did not dry them. They are now both entirely unwearable as they seemed to widen in the body and become MANY inches shorter.. I am posting a photo of one of them laying on a queen sized bed. As you can see, the design of this top is entirely too wide but washes to a length that is like a crop top and, as other reviewers have stated, there is a serious problem with shrinkage. I guess I just threw away $136 dollars as the two I bought are not wearable. I am disgusted. What has happened to Free People quality/design control?
DRY CLEAN AND KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!
I ordered this top in the teal and blackl. Beautiful colors. Wore the teal once and then washed it on "Hand" cycle on my washer and hung up to dry. The top shrank at least 6 inches in length! Returned top to FP shop and was first told they wouldn't do anything since it had been worn and cleaned. They finally exchanged it for the only color (blush/pale pink) they had in my size. A few days ago I took it to the dry cleaners to be cleaned. Picked it up today and it is 6-10 inches shorter. I measured against my black one! The laundry swears they dry cleaned it but there is no way..They are now "trying" to "fix" it.. I think they will be forced to pay me for this ruined top..My question...IF it was dry cleaned....How am I suppose clean the black one? HELP!!
Absolutely love this top. I'm 5'2 125 pounds and I got a small in the Ivory color. I do like my things oversized and baggy and it didnt fail to do so. It is kind of short in the front, but the sides of the shirt that fall are the bigger part of the shirt so it makes it look bigger.. Very nice/soft material, not too thin and not too thick, definitely a good summer flowy shirt. Will definitely be buying more colors!
Great cute shirt
Love this shirt I am a petite so the XS was still pretty loose but I wore a white tank under it and it looked great. So comfy and looks really good with jeans or leggings and boots got a ton of compliments on the shirt, I got the gray I may get another color too.
Pretty in pearl
I got this top in Pearl which is a soft peachy blush - really pretty! I went with a M as I do for all FP oversized tops and as usual it was a perfect fit - still lots of drape without being drowned in it. This particular color has a soft colored contrast stitching which is not apparent in the photos but I had seen it previously at my local FP store. Overall another great top for my collection.
BEST SHIRT EVER
I LOVE THIS SHIRT. I bought the ivory and blue and they are SUPER cute! I wish I would've bought all of the colors. You can wear it out or just causally wear it during the day. I highly recommend this shir.
Dry Clean Only!!!!
I love this tee I really do, but.....here's my story: I purchased it in the teal color size L. When it came in, I loved the fabric, loved the fit (even though it was a little large) and loved the way it draped, so I decided I wanted the toffee color too. Got the toffee in and the color was fabulous! I wore it the same day and then later in the week to dinner. I dropped a bit of salsa on the front, so the next day I decided to wash it. I washed it in cold with some other clothes and threw it in a warm, not hot, drier. I really wanted this top to shrink some since it had grown a bit with wear. I've done this with numerous other FP knit tops and they turned out just fine, I ended up receiving the results I wanted. But, with this top it shrunk so much it looked like an extreme crop top. So much so, that from the shoulder to the hem in the front it was maybe 15 inches!!!! It shrunk in half, if not more! So....when I went to wash the teal one today, lesson learned, I followed the washing instructions, delicate, in cold water and dry flat. Well....when I took it out of the washer, it had shrunk too!!!! Not as bad as the toffee color, but it still shrunk a good 4-5 inches in the hem. Note: the width did not seem to shrink. So.....DO NOT, I stress DO NOT wash this tee, bring it to be dry cleaned unless you want a crop top that just covers your boobs!!!!
