Good and bad
Overall I like it but it is very large. I ordered XS and wow is it big! I think FP should consider setting themselves apart from the other vanity sizers and returning to REAL sizes. Yes, this means that those of us who are really size 6 or 8 or small or medium cannot run around in
I really like this shirt. I got the black combo. The style and fit works well for me but as another reviewer said after the first wash several small holes have appeared. This is the third shirt I have gotten from Free People with this problem. I didn't want to bother with writing a review or complaining on the last 2 shirts I bought but enough is enough. Quality has really gone downhill. The prices are too high for such flimsy material. I'll be far more selective in what I choose to buy from now on.
Hi jshima3, Sorry to hear about your henley! Someone from our team will reach out to you soon. -Free People
I am 5'9" 150 lbs and purchased this in the XL dark army combo, I love the relaxed fit but even more I love the contrast at that cuffs and the collar. I like my casual tops a bit oversized, looks great with leggings , maxis etc. I hope the black combo comes back in stock, but in the mean time I'm going to pick up the ballerina combo while it's still available. The material is soft and comfortable too. I can highly recommend and thanks FP for making this available in the XL !!!
Purchased in ballerina love the shirt color is great however first time laundered holes appeared several places very disappointing as I also bought one for my daughter and the same happened to hers ~ I didn't return to much hassle . I also purchased in black and that gets a 5 star!!!
Great weekend top
This is just a perfect casual shirt that looks and fits as pictured. It is a light weight material but not sheer. Order your normal FP size for generous cut tops.
I got the xs in the blue color. The color is pretty accurate in the first photo of the girl standing in the street, but probably even duller. The other pictures make it looks like a beautiful deep blue. The shirt itself isn't terrible but the color is just so bland. I am 5"3 and 110 and it fits loosely, semi billowy, its meant to be that way but its just no the most flattering. It is also VERY thin. Not ideal for winter unless you did a lot of layering.
I bought this in black tan combo and OMG I love it. Its super comfy and oversized for skinny jeans and anke booties or leggings. I bought the XL and and it hits past my butt. I am 5'7 and 205lbs, so for plus size gal I love FP!
Great shirt and the black combo is amazing
I bought this shirt in the XS in the denim blue and the black combo. I initially bought this shirt because I wanted the denim blue but the black is AWESOME!!! Don’t get me wrong the blue is great too, but the black is such a rich saturated color and the pop of the being in the shirt makes the perfect combination. The shirt fits similar to the Henley shirts meaning it fits well and isn’t overly baggy but could be work with a shirt underneath if you’d like to layer (although I would recommend sizing up if you want to layer beneath this shirt). The shirt fits me similar to how if fits the model although at 5’3” the v-neck is a little wider on me, possibly because of my smaller stature. I have issues with the bicep of shirts being too snug on me sometimes because I lift weights but that wasn’t an issue in this top. Please note that the pictures of the denim blue shirt are NOT what the fabric looks like. It almost looks scratchy and cheap in those photos; the black is a much better representation. This shirt is soft, cozy, although a little lightweight so it would need to be layered during really cold winter months. Super, super cute though – I would wear it every day if I thought people wouldn’t notice.
