Wow…So chic!

This top exceeded my expectations. This is a really sophisticated look if you want it to be. It's long enough to wear with a legging and looks divine worn over a long tight tube skirt. The back is so sexy that it can be forgiven for having to deal with a tough bra situation;) The fabric is a thin, woven, slinky, sweater material that drapes like a dream. It's delicate, but you'll just have to treat it kindly. Like the Weekends Layering Top, the material stretches with ease across the neck, shoulders and arms. It clings on the arms to make them look long and skinny and the rest of the design is forgiving on the mid-section. The XS is pretty long on my 5'2" frame so that bums me out (as usual), but with the right amount of finesse I can tuck it in at strategic points around my waistline and make it shorter. I really wish they offered a size smaller for us normal to petite girls; if so I would be rocking' a showstopper. I bought this in shadow but I am crossing my fingers that FP brings back that gorgeous brown/mauve color (which I missed) so I can buy it to wear with jeans.

True Love!!!!

I have this sweater in the navy and just recently purchased the alabaster which is the softest sort of peachy color. I wore the navy with some printed palazzo pants and am waiting for a special time to wear the alabaster. The funky/hippish clerk said she could see this with pearls! What!!!!??? But I definitely can although I have no pearls! I just love the back drapes away from your body. Very sexy! I have the mediums but I feel like I could have worn a small. Average height and weight and build.

Bought this in the Navy colour and I absolutely adore it! I wear it with an old free people slip, the Chiffon & Lace Tiered Slip. All in all, I adore this. Hoping to get it in the 'Alabaster' colour! I'm a UK size 2-4, 34A, 5ft3 and bought the XS

the best sweater

Someone already said that this sweater is "God's gift to the sweater world" :) And I couldn't agree more. I love everything about it. It's soft, light and that fab twist in the back just makes it super cool. It is loose, but I really like how it drapes. I got the ivory one. But the name is misleading, as it is light grey. The color it true to the one on model photos, so I wasn't really expecting ivory :) I'm 5'8" 143lbs and got size S, which is perfectly loose on me. Highly recommended!

didn't love it

i do like the length of the front and the twist in the back, but i didn't like how long the drapes sides were. i already sized down and it's still roomy as expected, but the sleeves were tight. the material is soft and has some weight to it so it would drape nicely.

Pros and Cons

  • Age: over 45
  • Body-type: slender

The con is that this piece is of poor quality, the fabric and the construction. So don't plan on having this in your wardrobe for years to come. The pro is that it is stunning on. I bought the small in mauve and its a bit on the large side. I could wear an XS but I didn't want to lose any length to it. I'm 5'4 and 120 lbs.

Love this sweater

love this oversized sweater, as it is very comfortable. The material is thinner so it makes for a great light sweater and it definitely stretches a bit. I love the back of this shirt. Highly recommend this product.

A shedding mess.

I absolutely loved this shirt until it started shedding everywhere. I don't know if maybe I just got the one bad one but I'm so disappointed. With the raw hemline, it shed everywhere. The first night I wore it, I went to dinner and my white dinner napkin was completely covered in little teal bits while in my lap. I tried wearing it other days thinking maybe it just needed some time but it's still continuing to shed. Other than that, the color is gorgeous. The fit is awesome and it looks beautiful. I just wish I didn't shed like a cat when I wear it.

LOVE

This is God's gift to the sweater world. It's so light, soft, and I knew I would love it before I even put it on. I got the deep teal color and it is so vibrant like the photo. The back is so gorgeous. I have the free people brami and they both pair really well together. I usually wear a medium everywhere but with free people I get small, which was a really good decision since this sweater runs so big. Great purchase!

Love, love, love.

Just as all the other reviews say - this sweater is gorgeous! It looks fantastic with a strappy black bra, but also works with a black cami (for work). I just got it, have worn it twice already and gotten many, many compliments. For reference, I'm 5'7'', about 135 pounds and the small fits perfectly. One thing to be aware of - the fabric is very thin. It's not a warm sweater and I also feel like I need to be extra careful with it.
