This tunic is so cute and fits really well. However, I had the same problem as denbaby. It is SO prone to snagging. I wasn't wearing any jewelry the first time I wore it, but by the end of the day I had pulls all over... tiny little holes everywhere :(
I love this so much, however, like a lot of Free People clothing, the quality just is not there. Wore it one night and there are multiple holes down the side. Many snags in the fabric even though I was not doing many rough things. I just wish it would have last. Not too happy.
Hi denbaby, We're sorry to hear about this. Someone will be in touch soon. - Free People
Falls beautiful, tight in the arms!
I am still on the fence about this sweater. I tried it on in the store. I am usually between an xs and small in tops, and the sweater fit great in the xs but was entirely too tight in the arms. The arms began past the shoulder, and the fit was so small - I have average, if not smaller arms, so I am thinking of sizing up and giving it another try. I hope it doesn't fit too loosely all over in a size up. The quality of the material is great - I hope I can make this work in a different size!
I had previously seen this on the rack at my local FP and thought it looked interesting, but brushed it off for some reason. I was back in recently and decided to just give it a try. I am SO GLAD I did!!! I am petite and curvy (5'2" 115 lbs with some booty) and depending on the fabric/cut of the oversized, drapey tops, they can just overwhelm me and look shapeless or unflattering. NOT the case with this top! The fabric is sheer and lightweight, so it hangs smoothly, the arms are nicely fitted, and the wrap front gives it some interest. I decided on the black and aubergine in XS- the S fit well too, but I was told it would stretch some. With all that said, the knit is very fine and will snag easily- hence the 4 stars and not 5. The ones I tried on all had snags so I looked for one without any. The arms are a challenge to get on at first (take any rings or bracelets off!!) but they relax comfortably. I don't have large arms, but this is the only issue I could see people having. Overall a very nice item!
This red tunic is stunning!
This tunic in Paprika is gorgeous! I went with the black myself (I was afraid the bright orangey-red would clash with my red hair) but it's boring compared to the Paprika, which looks stunning on my blonde friend. If you can pull off that shade, do it! Fits loose in the torso but snug on the arms so I'd suggest staying true to your size.
WOW, buy this!
I've been looking at this online but never decided to buy it, I thought it might not hang well. Boy, was I wrong! I tried this on today in my local FP store and grabbed it. I am 5'3" and 135 lbs. I wear anything from an S to an L in FP clothes depending on how the clothes are cut and how I want them to look. However, I'm usually an M. I bought an S in white, gorgeous. The M looked good too but I decided on a slightly snugger fit. This is so flattering and has a lovely swing in the back. The crossover front hangs beautifully and looks even better than the pictures online. I just ordered this in black as my store was sold out! The red would look great for the holidays. Buy this one!
