huge neck line but nice shirt
I have this in the ivory and taupe size S, which is my typical FP shirt size. (Usually Im a S or M in other brands, solid size 6) Im happy with my shirts but my one complaint is the neck line, its just too wide and low for me, my bra always pokes out so I either have to wear a fashion bra and have it show on purpose or a tank top underneath which changes the look entirely. The pictures make the shirt look like a rounded neck line but its really more of a rounded square…Maybe an extra hot dryer cycle will do the trick and shrink it a little. In the end I wouldn't buy this again.
Cute, but odd fit
I absolutely love this shirt online on the model, but when it arrived, it was either loose in the shoulders or bust. I would recommend this to someone with a bigger bust, but be careful about the sizing...
sizing is way off
This top is a bit of a strange one. It is very pretty and not as short as the photo of the ivory one shows, but the sizing is very weird. The neckline is way too large and unflattering and shows a lot of bra, even with a top underneath its too much and looks odd. The length from the neckline to the seam on the shoulder is not the same on both sides so the already large neckline is lopsided. The sleeves are also incredibly tight while the rest of the top is very loose. I wouldn't have said I have particularly big arms and Ive never had this problem with a top before. Very disappointed!
Okay Everyday Henley
I got this in the ivory, and sized up to a medium from my normal small as I usually do in thermals. This is a lightweight top. I didn't find the material scratchy at all, it felt fine against my skin. I do wish it didn't have polyester in it, and that they did a linen blend or all cotton instead, and I think that's what the other reviewer might be sensing. As for fit, it fit nicely everywhere except I found the neckline quite large, as some fp tops can be. I think it's important to note that this shirt is not as short as it's shown in the ivory photos. It comes well past my waist, as shown in the taupe and navy photos. I would use those photos for sizing reference. My digits are 34-27-36, 5'8, 128lbs, if that helps.
I bought this top thinking it would be ribbed, but have some stretch and be soft. I was a bit disappointed to find that it's not very stretchy and is definitely not soft. It's stiff at first. It breaks in a little through the day, but it's a bit scratchy. Having said that, it did look ok with a pair of jeans. Even though it's not a great material, I am keeping mine because it looks nice.
